MOD’Unica: A New Name, the Same Unique Essence

  • Share

After 64 editions inspiring the textile and apparel sector in Portugal, the fair previously known as MODTISSIMO has been renewed under the name MOD’Unica. It reaffirms its position as the only fair entirely dedicated to the Portuguese textile and apparel industry and the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula.

Why MOD’Unica?

Because “Made in Portugal” is in Fashion. Because we haven’t forgotten our roots, honoring the legacy of decades of work built by MODtissimo. Because we are a model and an example of excellence and innovation for the international textile and apparel sector. Because the Portuguese textile and apparel industry has a unique way of creating and developing value propositions, combining tradition, know-how, technology, sustainability, and future vision — and this fair showcases exactly that uniqueness. Because we want to continue being the only fair dedicated to the Portuguese textile and apparel industry, maintaining our differentiation and striving to be increasingly unique in Europe.

A Fair Reflecting the Portuguese Industry

MOD’Unica reflects the strength and breadth of a true textile and apparel cluster, where companies in spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing, technical textiles, clothing, home textiles, and specialized services come together to present the market with complete and integrated solutions. It is in this environment that products and services are developed, created, tested, and launched to meet global challenges — always with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Be Part of the Future

Organized by ATP – Portuguese Textile and Apparel Association, with the support of SPORMEX Events, the next edition of MOD’Unica will take place at Exponor on February 26th and 27th, in an event that promises to celebrate the talent, creativity, and future vision of “Made in Portugal.”

Because the Portuguese textile and apparel industry is unique in its ability to combine tradition, technology, and sustainability, positioning Portugal as a key reference hub in the global arena.
